Zell am See-Kaprun is also in winter a fantastic area for walkers. With snow shoes, take to the snow covered mountains. An extensive walking system takes hold of you and propels you into the most remote corners of the region. Mountain huts spoil at the edge of the routes.

Also on the bank of the frozen Zeller lake you can leave your foot prints and observe the ice skaters and dancers. Good footwear, winter clothing and warm tea - all this is a must on the route by the lake side in the glittering powder snow.
